I started on this the other night and finished it up  now. It's kinda loose, but I was focusing on depth and color and small details. Her perspective is so wrong on the ground, but I didn't pay attention to the vanishing point ah well.

i wasn't really going for ariel. it's the typical red-headed green-tailed mermaid though
