This started out as an hour and half speed paint into a 5 or so hour long painting. Here is the before and after- sta.sh/01c6yt8az2xu
The focus was warm/cool and depth. Not so much anatomy or face.
I had fun with this textured painterly feel.

This has a wonderfully heavy feel to it. Like, I don't really have the better words for it but it's like a scene from a story book, but on its own it feels like it stands out like a memory. But, still this is something that's capturing a moment of deep thought or reflection. Her clothes also do a great job of lending to her essence as they show she's a hard worker. This makes me think all kinds of great questions.
